The wines from Hubert Lamy are phenomenal, and we are always on the hunt for anything from this outstanding address. Lamy is one of the benchmark addresses for Saint Aubin and is a fantastic source for classic mineral-driven white Burgundy from this slightly cooler terroir. We have a bit of the La Princee Blanc today, a lovely wine from Lamy sourced from 10 different parcels in Saint-Aubin, which were planted between 1985 and 2000. While this is one of the more entry-level wines from Hubert Lamy, it gives a beautiful look at the year in Saint-Aubin, and 2020 is a magnificent vintage for Lamy. The main takeaway here is unbridled energy and focus, complemented by some lovely minerals and white-fleshed fruits. Lamy's collection of old vine holdings drives the concentration and intensity of the wines while still being classic representations.
