2021 Aubry Wines Cabernet Sauvignon Les Belles Filles Vineyard

$79.99
2021 Aubry Wines Cabernet Sauvignon Les Belles Filles Vineyard

We are offering discounted pricing today for those who buy three or more bottles.  This is an exceptional cool-climate Cabernet Sauvignon from a very small one-acre vineyard in Coombsville. We worked with the 2019 vintage of this wine, and it was a big success and one of our favorites. We are excited to report that the '21 is just as good and has even better potential. It's a bigger, more structured wine than the elegant 2019, with loads of cassis, cherry, underbrush, and a touch of spice. The palate is dense with incredible depth and intensity, with tons of dry extract and a long lingering finish. This wine will age incredibly, but if it is opened now, it needs to be decanted and paired with some substantial food. The alcohol here is very modest at only 13%, with only 4 barrels produced and only 25 percent new oak. However, the real kicker here is that we sold the 2019 at $119.99 a bottle, but we are able to offer the 2021 at a much cheaper rate. At this price, it blows away all the high alcohol ultra modern Cabernets on the market and is one of the few producers trying to make Cabernet Sauvignon like the early days of Napa. If you like classic old-school Cabernet Sauvignon, this is a must-buy, and I have already squirreled away a few bottles for my personal cellar.
