International Wine Review 97 pts! The stunning 2021 Prime Cut Chardonnay rests for 11 months in about 35% new French oak and is selected from the vintage’s most textured barrels. A light to medium lemon-gold core with a water rim in the glass, it explodes with aromas of white peach, dusty earth, honeysuckle flower, and just a smudge of cheese rind and dried sage. The perfect levels of lemony acidity and long, succulent finish kept me coming back to the glass for more. Medium to full-bodied across the palate, it gifts an orchard fruit and spicey note on the mid and back palate. Highly recommended and editor’s choice. 

Vinous (Audry Frick) 96 pts! The 2021 Chardonnay Prime Cut is phenomenal and takes on a more balanced and complete feel with a Burgundian-influenced edge of flinty reduction, orange water, pineapple, and green apple eau de vie. The palate is stunning, with outstanding concentration and a weightless feel, as well as fantastic purity and energy and a supple, rounded mouthfeel. So pleasurable, it checks all the boxes for great Chardonnay and what a Willamette Chard can be. Drink 2023-2034. (Drink between 2023 - 2034)
