Pale lemon colour, with a pleasing bouquet, not quite the volume of fruit of Garenne on the nose, but more on the palate where fruit rather than flesh drives the wine. Good length, well made.
Burghound 91 pts! A subtle but not invisible touch of wood surrounds a similar array of aromas with the addition of more floral influence. The expansive and rich middle weight flavors coat the palate with sappy dry extract that possess a caressing mouthfeel that carries over the sneaky long finish where a tart, but not drying, touch of acid tang appears. This isn't what I would call racy but it possesses enough energy to be appealing anyway. (Drink starting 2029)
