Leflaive's Mâcon-Verze has been one of the top values from a typically very price-demanding producer. It is a fantastic wine made with the same standard as any wine to bear the Leflaive name. It is a fantastic value and is always one of the top wines from Mâcon-Verze. Since 2004, these 9 hectares of vines have been farmed biodynamically by the Leflaive team and are divided into five plots, some of which, like Les Chene, are bottled separately, which started in 2016. This offer, however, is just for the standard Mâcon-Verze blend that Leflaive produces. Harvest is entirely manual, and pressing takes place in a Verze facility that was purchased simultaneously with the vines. The musts are transported to the home base in Puligny-Montrachet, where vinification is then completed. Domaine Leflaive's Mâcon-Verze is a very pure and energetic wine with beautiful floral and mineral nuances and is one of the top buys from the region. 2023 is another lovely vintage with the potential to be one of the best ever made here.
