John Gilman 93+  The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet “les Perrières” from Jacques Carillon is utterly classic in all respects, offering up a bright, youthful and complex nose of pink grapefruit, white peach, a complex foundation of chalky minerality, lemon peel and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and tightly-knit, with a rock solid core of fruit, fine mineral drive and cut, impeccable balance and a long, focused and racy finish.
