We have some great back vintage magnums from Produttori today at this excellent pricing. It's an expressive and complex Barbaresco that gives a beautiful glimpse of the vintage, made from many of the estate's incredible single vineyards. Produttori is one of our top sellers of all time, and 2018 is an excellent and special wine from Produttori. 2018 was not an easy vintage, with frost, heavy rains, and hail that particularly affected Barbaresco. However, while there were these issues, water was not a problem like in previous years, and the overall temperatures throughout the growing season were generally regular, with warm days and cool nights. However, the team at Produttori decided not to bottle any of the single vintage crus this year, so all that fruit went into the regular Barbaresco, making this one of the few examples in modern times to be made with all 9 of the crus—an elegant yet powerful vintage with a great sense of place and lovely fruit. This is drinking great now, has plenty of life left, and will drink a bit more on the younger side in this magnum format. These are the only magnums of this cuvee available right now, and they are not to be missed by fans of Produttori!

It has medium body, good concentration, and plenty of fruit and mineral earth that drive through the finish.
