It is a bottle we have offered in the past and a beautiful example of the 1991 vintage, which is an exceptional year and slightly understated compared to the more powerful '90s, though definitely more classic. We have had many examples from this fine vintage, and it's rare to find such a reasonable example. Les Peuillets is the most southernly located vineyard in Savigny-les-Beaune on the border of Beaune, right across the A6, and shares an edge with Narbatons and Marconnets. It is a wine that shows a bit more of the elegance and finesse of Savigny, typically medium-bodied with pure red fruit aromas and floral notes. Bottles are in fantastic condition, coming ex-cellar from Noellat.
