N.V. Gyéjacquot Frères Champagne Collection Brut

$29.99
N.V. Gyéjacquot Frères Champagne Collection Brut

We were able to get a bit more of this one after selling out earlier this week! N.V. Gyéjacquot Frères Champagne Collection Brut is an exceptional Grower Champagne that we recently tasted, delivering outstanding value for the price. Based in the Aube region, this second-generation family estate, established in 1970, farms sustainably across twenty plots comprising 12 hectares of vineyards. The wine is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir, 10% Chardonnay, and 10% Pinot Blanc, with vines managed under HVE Level 3 certification for environmental excellence. It is crafted using traditional methods, with low-temperature fermentation to preserve freshness, followed by 24 months of aging on lees for complexity. The dosage perfectly balances the richness of Pinot Noir with the vibrant acidity of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, resulting in aromas of apple, citrus, minerals, and a touch of brioche. The palate is rich and deep, with notable dry extract and a lingering finish. This would be a great bottle at $49.99, but at $29.99, it's a steal and gets our highest recommendation! The best bottle of Champagne you'll find, and the next release will cost significantly more, so buy now!
