We have this late-release 2022 from Ballot-Millot, which could be the best of all time. Led by Charles Ballot, who took over for his father in 2000, he is the 15th generation in Meursault to make wine, with 10 hectares of vineyards, mainly in some of the best locations in Meursault as well as Chassange, all of which he began tending sustainably when he started. 2022 was an excellent vintage for Ballot-Millot. Classic with lovely elegance while showing incredible intensity and mineral expression, these wines are a white Burgundy lover's dream and a not-to-miss vintage for Ballot-Millot, proving it is an address that deserves more recognition.

Jasper Morris MW (Inside Burgundy) 92-94 points! "Mid lemon yellow, with some warmth to the nose. On the palate there is a delicious depth of quality fruit with a little bit of mirabelle, but with a wave of slightly different flavours and a mineral touch to finish."
