Across the board, the wines from Ogier are remarkable, with each Cuvee expressing a unique terroir, even at the Côte du Rhone level. Le Temps est Venu is sourced from plots in Plan de Dieu and Visan and is a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, with vines between 30 and 50 years old, planted on clay-limestone soils. Harvest is done by hand, with sorting in the vineyard and before pressing, which is done entirely with whole clusters. Fermentation occurs with natural yeasts in temperature-controlled concrete, where the wine ages for ten months before bottling. The purity of the fruit here is outstanding; fresh red fruits dominate the nose, accompanied by a touch of spice and minerals. The palate is juicy and energetic, featuring delicious red fruits that come through with easy tannins and a long, fruity finish.
