This is pure artisanal grower bubbles from one of the longest-tenured vignerons in Champagne and a lovely bottle at pricing that rarely exists today. José only owns a tiny number of Pinot Noir vines, and this is where they predominantly go. While it is virtually the same as the old rose, this is the best rendition we have tasted. It is a rose that always fires with expressive red fruits, flowers, and minerals while carrying harmony through the palate with vibrant acidity and ample richness. It's simply a beautiful bottle that continues its streak for the best buy in the category.
