Les Clos can be an elusive wine that can offer one of the most extraordinary grand cru experiences of Chablis, and right now, this is firing on all cylinders. The vines for the Moreau Les Clos have some significant age on them and were planted in 1958 and 1968. Always hand-harvested and sorted, this is vinified in the tank with indigenous years and sees no oak, aging on the fine lees for 18 months before bottling. It's a pure and transparent style that Moreau has used to great success since the 2013 vintage. This is an excellent example of Les Clos and certainly shows its grand cru weight in this vintage, as Neil Martin notes below.
