2024 Domaine Tempier Bandol Rosé

$44.99
2024 Domaine Tempier Bandol Rosé

2024 is the new release from Tempier, and we have three sizes of this crowd-favorite Rose at this great pricing! Tempier makes one of the greatest Roses in Bandol, and while we see many producers try to replicate Tempier's serious style of rosé, none do it as well as Tempier, who has been the benchmark for Bandol forever. There is always something so captivating about this rosé, with its radiant freshness in its youth before putting on more weight and complexity with age. There is no wrong or right way to enjoy this, and it is all down to preference, but one thing is sure: Tempier makes one of the best rosés in the world.

The Mourvedre (~50% of the blend) for the Bandol Rosé comes from vines with an average age of 30 from select parcels, with the remaining dedicated to Grenache and Cinsault. The vines are very low-yielding, giving the wine an unmatched concentration, but in the Domaine style, they aim for a higher acidity to keep the wines fresh and vibrant. With a complexity of minerality, spices, and red fruits, it is not just a summer-day drinking wine; it is a bottle that can hold its own throughout a meal any time of year. We always recommend grabbing a few of these- some to enjoy now and some to tuck away in the cellar for a little longer. Tempier sets the bar annually for rosé, and 2024 is going to be another great example, especially at this excellent pricing. If you are interested in any of the magnums or 3 liters, email us, and we will take care of it for you; otherwise, use the link above to order 750s!
